The same is true if you want a flat stomach. Exercising all day won't burn any fat. And you won't see your new washboard abs if your stomach is covered in fat. You will eventually be able to see them if you lose overall weight, and this is the same with losing facial fat. The best thing to do is keep up the toning exercises and at the same time try to reduce your body mass overall.
